My dear friend Nina told me I should illustrate this dude we saw at the beach this summer. No joke, he looked exactly like this as he was filming his kids, flexing his muscles, and smoking a cigarillo. Hahahahah! Anyhoo, Tada!
I just finished the last piece for the cloud eater book I've been working on. Now all that's left is the cover. Here's the first page of the book. I think this is the piece I'm going to use in my commencement show.
I LITERALLY just got these delivered to my door :) I like how they turned out, except the outline on the green side is SLIGHTLY off...but hopefully no one will really notice.
And here's the board book I made on Sunday for Illustrated Book. I really like how the pages look from an angle. And the matte paper I printed on looks nice also. I'm going to use it as my senior show piece probably.
I've only finished coloring the linework on the "E", here are some more letters I've been working on. Once I start making the animation the colors will be more streamlined. I think these look neat though.
I spent all day at Port Discovery working on my mural design for the space behind their Mt. Rushmore statue in the "think tank." Here's a sketch of it. It's going to be 14ft. x 4ft. full color. Very ambitious, but I'm excited for the final product.
Here's my first assignment from illustrated book. I kinda felt bad about sending 4 cute little pugs to their doom, but it makes the picture more interesting/funny. don't hate me!
